Happy, healthy horses are the backbone of our services; without them our outcomes would not exist. Our horses are specially selected and trained for their career as Ride On St. Louis program horses. They are our partners, conditioned athletes and working service horses with a clearly defined job, training, exercise and care routine.

 

Their health directly affects our client’s outcome, experience and service. Their medical, veterinary, feed, supplies, training, insurance and equipment costs are some of our largest costs. Ride On St. Louis benefits from veterinarian, farrier, chiropractic and dental care discounts, and incorporates preventative health care and screening that decrease the risk of injury, chronic illness, burnout and stress. Our staff shares a strong sense of duty in their comfort and care, and we engage in fundraising, grant writing and donation solicitation to cover the cost of their needs.

Provides your horse with hay and grain for one year.
