Position: Part-time or full-time licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat children (at least 2 years of age) and adults with neuromuscular disorders using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field –experience in equine-assisted therapy and hippotherapy as a treatment strategy preferred.
Certifications: PT/OT Licensed in the State of MO, First Aid/CPR current. Certification through The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International and The American Hippotherapy Association preferred.
Responsibilities: Provide individuals that have neuromuscular/skeletal disorders with appropriate therapy treatment in order to achieve maximum functional outcome. Consistency with Ride On St. Louis mission, values and standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability for pleasant interaction with variety of individuals
