All of us at Ride On St. Louis are pleased to have completed a fabulous fall session! As you may know, Ride On St. Louis celebrated our 20th anniversary this year and has done a lot of growing since 1998. For the last 16 years, we have called the Anheuser Estate in Kimmswick our home and are grateful to Mrs. Dorothy Hatfield and past mayor Brian Selsor for inviting us onto the property to carry out our mission in promoting health and enriching lives.
This past session will conclude services offered at this location, as Ride On St. Louis is pursuing a forever home for the expansion and continued services to all our clients, volunteers and community supporters. All eight of our horses are together at a temporary location during this transitional period for Ride On St. Louis, and are enjoying ample pasture while being cared for by the Ride On St. Louis staff and volunteers. We are working hard on securing a new forever home with 30+ dedicated acres, no threat of flooding, and accommodations for a live-on caretaker. This is an exciting move for Ride On St. Louis and we are thrilled with the possibilities that our forever home will provide for increased client and community programs and events, organizational sustainability, efficiency and a peaceful atmosphere for equine-assisted activities and therapies. While we are in this transitional phase, there will be no spring session 2019. Please stay tuned to emails and social media for updates on our moving progress, and visit our FAQ and moving news at www.rideonstl.org/forever-home You may contact us at PO Box 94, Kimmswick, MO 63053, by phone at 636-464-3408 or email at info@rideonstl.org Please continue to pray for good things for Ride On St. Louis that will allow us to best serve the clients and families we so dearly care for and are privileged to know and serve.
