Entertainers performed the words and music of Al Hammerman with featured artists Alan Ox, Arvell Keithley, Brian Owens, and Feyza Eren to raise funding for the Old Newsboys Campaign for Kids.

Old Newsboys is a non-profit organization that has raised over $20 million for hundreds of area children's charities. Their Campaign for Kids is a volunteer-driven charitable project of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch ensuring that children at risk receive equal opportunity for social development.

Fundraising events occur throughout the year, but perhaps their most notable event and tradition happens a week before Thanksgiving. Volunteers wake up very early in the morning and take to the streets to raise money for children's organizations funded by the Old Newsboys Fund for Children. Thousands of volunteers, no matter the weather, stand outside on hundreds of street corners selling a special-edition newspaper written by area high school students and highlighting regional charities that benefit from Old Newsboys funding.
