We are thrilled to welcome back our service outreach with long-standing partner Pony Bird! Since 2014, Pony Bird has collaborated with Ride On St. Louis, providing a residential group home for adults with medically complex diagnoses. For 10 years (minus one for flooding/moving), we've been offering social interaction, sensory revitalization, learning and exercise through equine interactions.
This year, for the second year now, Pony Bird day-program participants engage in inclusive volunteer opportunities around the barn, helping to build confidence, skills, and friendships while contributing to the community. A heartfelt thank you to Sherri, Ashtin, and the staff and volunteers at Pony Bird--and of course, a big thank you to the amazing participants! You're a joy to spend time with and your hard work makes a difference! Helping others is such a vital part of community life, and when we can all participate, it’s a win-win.
