Summer Wraps!

Cooler air is blowing in and our summer season has closed. We're so thankful for the time we've had with our friends around the barn! We welcomed back Pony Bird for in-person services, made improvements with our Barn Buddies and Sports Horsemanship participants, hosted several special volunteer groups, empowered youth through a variety of experiences, and began a new partnership with the St. Louis Co. Police Athletic League youth outreach. Additionally, we hosted an inspiring, invitation-only event in support of the promising future of Ride On St. Louis in our community! Stay tuned for updates on our Forever Home project and 25th anniversary, upcoming this next year.

With summer at an end, the fall season started by welcoming Maryville students and alumni to the barn last week as they offered their volunteer services. This month, we're also looking forward to continuing activities with our Pony Bird partners in Unmounted Activities, and will continue into fall, weather permitting! Our Barn Buddies program, serving adults with health obstacles, operates on a continual basis and is always developing to meet changing needs and capabilities. Lastly, our Always Home equine retirement program is nearing it's second year in operation! This program allows us to continue caring for and supporting our service horses when they retire from their careers in equine assisted services at Ride On St. Louis. Always Home includes retirees Amiga and Ultimate "Style".
